Halloween Night Theatre & Dinner

Come join us at the Old Surrey Restaurant for a night of intrigue, fun, laughter and an excellent dinner. On October 30th we are hosting our annual Halloween dinner where producer Jessica Bruhn and the Gilded Player’s Group of Actors will perform a Halloween Warewolf themed Murder Mystery. Wine prizes will be given throughout the evening as well as a $50 gift certificate will be awarded to the best dressed. (Halloween themed costumes are optional). Please phone for reservations, as space is always limited. This evening costs $50 per person & starts at six o’clock.

Amuse Bouche
Ryder Lake Farms pork boulette topped with a fresh cilantro, cumin and a pinot gris demi-glaze, served with warm French baguette


Fresh Salt Spring island mussels
bathed in a Pinot Blanc cream sauce with hints of blue cheese, garnished with pomme frites

Chilliwack roasted beet salad
with feta cheese, tossed with a citrus vinaigrette with hints of balsamic and fresh basil, topped with candied pecans

Ryder Lake Farms squash soup
A mixture of butternut, acorn and pumpkin with cloves and a hint of nutmeg, garnished with deep fried potato skins


Fresh rainbow trout fillets
served with a wine butter reduction & topped with a roasted garlic lemon aioli, garnished with fried leeks

Ryder Lake Farms Lamb Trio,
leg, rack and in-house lamb sausage, served with a classic mint demi galze, accompanied by garlic mash potatoes

Grilled AAA New York striploin steak
topped with garlic mushrooms, served with our classic cognac demi glaze


Pear Tarte Tatin,
a classic French pastry dish composed of fresh Okanogan pears glazed with brown sugar and cinnamon and flamed with Ameretto

baked on a graham cracker crust, topped with caramelized pecans and cinnamon whipped cream,
